This painting is an illusion/pattern piece. I used pink and black because I wanted the pink to pop to lean into the pattern. My main goal was to make the lines straight. I learned to challenge myself more, i think I could have done something more challenging and with more colors.

I used the technique ink blowing to create this piece. I started by sketching out my jelly fish and then i used watercolor to paint them. I also used the watercolor for the ink blowing. I finished it all off by outlining the jelly fish and adding details in the background.

I made this piece with the smoke from a candle. I wanted it to look more abstract. My favorite part about this piece is the design that the smoke leaves on the paper.

I did water marbling for this artwork. I really enjoyed doing the water marbling because the colors came out so vibrant. I thought that the marbling resembled flowers in a vase so I decided to lean into that. I did a drawing of flowers and a vase to bring my vision to life.

This art is based on nightmares. I used acrylic paint and paint markers for the swirls in the back. I wanted this to be more realistic so it feels almost uneasy. Realism is usually out of my comfort zone, but I'm really glad that i tried it out.

This is my anything but a canvas piece. I used acrylic paint. I wanted to make an ombre effect in the background so that it would feel like I was focusing on a couple flowers in a field. To make that effect i used a sponge. My favorite part about this piece are the ladybugs. They add a pop of color.

For this piece i used watercolor and black liner. I wanted the colored area to be very soft compared to the harsh black. My favorite part about this piece is the ladybug as it symbolizes my grandma who passed away. I think I could have done better on the flowers with the watercolor.

I used the wet on wet technique for this. My favorite part about this is the locket. I did a raccoon and a possum because i think it represents me and my girlfriend. I think I could've made the locket bigger.

This piece was inspired by the song "The Greatest"by Billie Eilish. The lyrics talk about not being treated the way you treat someone else and being told that you are the best. It's about being patient, even when you shouldn't be. This song has a very special place in my heart. I used acrylic paint for this.
